Get To Know
'Urban Kaos Designs' consists of two 21 year olds, Lloyd and JoJo, both located in Cardiff,
Lloyd started doing his own designs because Graphic Designers he knew at the time weren't all that so he decided to get on with his own thing, he taught himself and started with simple designs such as editing his own photos, making his own MySpace Layouts and putting together Forums using his own designs, but then started doing a little more such as Mixtape Covers, Flyers and T-Shirt designs,
he started off using Paint Shop Pro because 'Photoshop' at the time was abit to much to handle but now he's using Photoshop CS3 and loving it, he spends most of his days designing, whether it's designs for himself, friends, or other people that ask him to do them, he's designing for free at the moment but hoping he'll start getting better and better and then be able to sell his work,
Lloyd has also been working hard on the Urban Kaos Forum, it's a free one for now but is hoping to pay for some hosting in the near future because he enjoys managing Forums, and he has also been intouch with UK Grime Artists and has been getting official Interviews done with them which he is happy about!
JoJo started off with Art such as Sketching, then got into Graffiting and then she got into Graphic Design, she did nearly 2 years in College doing Art (amongest other subjects) but quit because the work was to easy and she didnt see the need in staying, she now just prefers to be on a computer designing Layouts, Covers and so on but doesnt really get her work 'out there', she also started off with Paint Shop Pro but then got the hang of Photoshop, she loves designing and is hoping one day that her work will get noticed and people will want it!
Urban Kaos Volume Albums
Lloyd decided to put together his own 'Urban Kaos Volume Albums' because he was tired of having to send people songs, so he started putting together the albums so people could download the whole lot, which are free and can be downloaded from the Urban Kaos Forum (link below), the covers for the albums are designed by both.. Lloyd and JoJo.
T-Shirt Designs
It was JoJo that decided that they should start designing and getting T-Shirts made for people, that's what the name 'Urban Kaos Designs' was actually meant for,
she started off using Iron-On Transfers, they'd both work on a design and then she'd print it and get it onto a T-Shirt for whoever wanted one, mostly her friends and family, at the time they were selling them for £10 each, then Lloyd also bought some Transfers and was doing some aswell for people that lived in his area,
but now their making it a little easier on themselves, their doing the designs but then sending them off to a proper Printing Company and getting them to put the designs onto the T-Shirts, Vests, Hoodies and so on because the company quality was better than the Iron-On Transfers quality, it costs a little more and takes a little longer to get delivered but the overall clothing and designs are amazing!
