Trim first began MCing with the Bomb Squad around 2002, shortly after he left jail. He soon made a name for himself for his use of wordplay and his individual flow. He is a former member of the grime collective Roll Deep.

Trim is seen as a formidable opponent within the grime scene due to his sharp wit and tendency to get very personal on a diss track. The Lowdown (from Creeper vol. 2) is one of the most brutal grime disses ever released. He clashes stormin and left him stutterin. Trim is an original badman. Trimbal, Trimothy and just Trim are a few of many names he has for himself. Furhter victims of Trims tongue include Major Ace, Sniper E, Moony and more recently Flow Dan of Roll Deep.
