Biography
Tre Jean-Marie (born April 13, 1993), better known by his stage name Tre Sosa (and previously known as Bandana Boy), is a grime mc and producer. Tre Sosa was born in Hackney, (East London), where he was raised. He is the son of singer Lincoln Jean-Marie, who won a MOBO for best newcomer with his band Peace By Piece. Tre's parents divorced when he was five years old, resulting in his father moving to North London. This left him to be raised by his mother, but his father remained active in his life. Tre Sosa debuted in 2006 with the single Hits Like Us featuring Striver (also known as S Dot Dizzle) of Nu Brand Flexxx, although they shot a video for this, it never was streamed on television. Since then he has worked with many artists and is planning to release his first single on Channel U/MTV Base late 2008.
Mixtape
Tre has just finished his first mixtape which is availible for free from his Myspace. It is entitled after his previous stage name, The Bandana Boy Mixtape and he says he exploring themes (musically and lyrically), which were different to most of the people appearing on Channel U, it features vocalist Tyrone, Skata Records' Dotstar and many more. His influences for the Mix CD are Nu Brand Flexxx, DJ Ironik and Wiley.
