Bio

SRC the producer from Birmingham first started producing music on logic back in his school days. After finding interest in creating music he began creating music on music 2000 & music 3000 on the playstation. He then found out about FruityLoops and then progressed making more and more beats. During this time he sent his beats to dj Merko who played them on a local radio station in Birmingham.

More and more people began to hear his music being played and he got in contact with RD and GT from Midlands Maffia who then vocalled one of SRC's beats. The track entitled 'I Know What You Did' on the tune SRC - Rain was a huge success and played on many radio stations. GT and RD later did a video for the track which was featured on channel u.

As SRC progressed with his producing he began using Reason as well as FruityLoops. SRC then got in contact with Big Mikee who later played many of SRC's tunes on 1xtra grime sets featuring artists such as Deadly, Hitman, Omen and Midlands Maffia.

SRC then began talking to a friend B9 Breh who then introduced SRC to another Birmingham producer, 1Beatmaker. 1Beatmaker then thought that SRC had a lot of potential and offered him the oppurtunity to join Beatmasons. SRC then though it would be a good idea and joined the Beatmasons which consisted of other Birmingham producers, Despa, 1Beatmaker, Mr Major and Booski. SRC was promised many releases whilst within the Beatmasons but nothing was ever released.

As nothing was being released SRC thought he would release his own cd which in the end was entitled 'Organised Grime'. He then began contacting emcees to vocal his instrumentals but found that many emcees were taking forever to vocal, with some not even finishing what was promised. At this time he was then introduced to two up and coming emcees, Conflict and C2. Finally 'Organised Grime' was finished and released for free in shops around the West Midlands, the cd seemed to be a huge sucess as it had vocals from emcees such as Badness, Devilman, Vader, MDK, C2 and Dezine.

SRC began producing more high quality grime tunes and has had tunes on various artists' mixtapes such as Black the Ripper. Conflict and C2 had stated they were also going to be releasing a cd so SRC began working more closely with the duo, producing a few tunes for their promo cd; 'Ratings n Rivalry'. With his producing skills improved dramatically over the years SRC now produces other genres of music including hip hop, 4x4 and dubstep to name a few.
