Omar Choudhry (born June 10, 1992) better known by his producing name O.C. or O Dot C is a 15 year old grime/hip-hop producer and filmmaker from London, England. He is also former CEO of Syke Soundz Recordings and current Co-Owner of K.O. Entertainment.

Biography
Childhood
Omar (born in Hillingdon Hospital on 10 June 1992) is one of 3 brothers & sisters. Omar grew up around musical influence, his father was a record producer and CEO of Saba Sounds and worked with various asian musicians including Rishi Rich and Veronica who are now dominating the UK Asian Music scene. As his father developed his record company, Omar grew an interest into the music industry and at the tender of age of 13, he took his first steps into the business.
Early Career
Shadow Kid Aka Shadow GFX was a 12 year old MC from West London and had grown up with Omar since the age of 6, however Shadow Kid moved away at the age of 9 yet the 2 reunited 3 years later when Shadow Kid returned to the same school as Omar. Shadow sent Omar a track which he had recorded at Serious Sound Recordings and Omar was impressed by his talent and decided he would like to pursue a career as an MC aswell.
By the time Omar was 14 he had grown a full interest in grime music and began pursuing his passion as an MC. He began setting up his own studio in his bedroom with the help of Shadow Kid and recorded his first track 'I Told You So' on Audacity along with Shadow Kid and his younger brother Faisal. Gradually, Omar built up his studio with new equipment and by late 2005, he had founded a record label known as Syke Soundz Recordings and signed Shadow Kid as his first artist.
Syke Soundz Recordings
Syke Soundz Recordings became an instant hit in the local area and became close rivals with Serious Sound Recordings (founded by Likkle T). However, this wasn't going to stop Omar in his tracks and slowly he began signing more MC's from the local area such as Denzil, More1, THAM, Limzy Kid and H.1.. By late 2006, Syke Soundz had become a fan favourite in the local area and are best known for the tracks Backswing, Runaway and Soundz Of Syke.
As the label grew within itself, Omar gave up emceeing and began producing using FL Studio. He taught himself the main art of production but was aided by his fellow artist/producer THAM.
By mid 2007, Syke Soundz were in a strong position musically and mentally and began open studio sessions which welcomed artists to the likes of MontanR, Hench Man, Durty Hoodz, S.Dot, Eager Boi and Mark My Wordz. At the same time, Omar began signing more and more MC's and producers and eventually the label became too big in numbers for Omar to control and in July 2007, Syke Soundz had ended and the studio was also closed for good.
Producing
After Syke Soundz had ended, Omar stopped producing temporarily and grew an interest in filmmaking. However, as the year 2008 fell into place, Omar returned to the grime scene bigger and better than ever before. He began remixing practically every RnB & Hip-Hop song he could find only to eventually master the art of producing.
Omar began sending his beats out to every MC he could get hold of in order to gain more recognition and in February 2008 he was recognised by the CEO of I.D.A Entertainment, Cheeky D. After having discussed future plans for the label, Cheeky D offered Omar a 40% share in the label which Omar gratefully accepted.
Since co-owning I.D.A. Entertainment, in March 2008 requets for beats came piling in from artists from all over the grime scene. However, In April that year, Omar decided to part from the label in order to work independently again and Omar along with the label came to a mutual agreement.
Since returning to music Omar has worked with artists to the likes of DJ Ironik, Terra Kid, Tuggzy Tantrum, Smart Kid, Mems, Mr L.Kid, Twissman, Aggro, Pressure and THAM.
Currently, Omar is preparing for his GCSE exams but is still releasing production features every so often which you can get regular updates on from his MySpace Page.
Filmmaking
In August 2007, Omar was offered a 2 Week Young Filmmakers Course at Ealing Studios. Omar entered the course with no official knowledge on filmmaking, and came out a fortnight later with 2 short films, one of which won an award for Best Script.
A few weeks after the course, Omar bought a camcorder and began making short films with friends and cousins in order to gain a wider experience as a filmmaker. In December 2007, Omar began writing a film which remains untitled and began shooting it in February 2008. The full movie is set for release in Summer 2008.
