2000 and Life was the title of Ghetto's eagerly anticipated first Mixtape, released in 2006. This was a major wakeup call amongst those in the Grime scene, firmly establishing GH (Ghetto) as one of the genre's potential future heavyweights. The style of 2000 and Life is commonly referred to as a reflection of Ghetto's 'Raw' side of delivery and flow, compared to his most recent 2nd release Ghetto Gospel, which he has claimed incorporates a slightly 'mellower' approach. GH has said recently said that failure to secure a record deal in 2008 would see him return fully to this raw, gritty style of spitting.
